Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Quality Assurance: Making sure that testing and calibrations are being conducted as per NIST and ASTM requirements and that certifications are attained and kept updated. Maintain our NVLAP certification;
Sales: Initiating and developing customer base in new work as well as tapping the potential of acquiring additional assignments on current projects;
Maintain orderly Concrete and Soils Testing Laboratories;
Specialized Inspections: Carrying out the more involved inspections that we conduct in addition to expanding the materials inspection scope with new tests and products;
Report Verification/ Invoicing: Review reports prior to issuance. Timeliness is key to keeping the flow of paperwork through the office;
Technical Expertise: Answer questions, explain test results, understand and be able to implement alternate techniques of testing to customers;
Training Assurance that all personnel are being developed to their fullest potential and manage, schedule, discipline workers.
Specialized Inspections: Carrying out the more involved inspections that we conduct in addition to expanding the materials inspection scope with new tests and products.
